Originally from Sardinia, Carolina moved to the UK to continue her training in dance and choreography studying at London Contemporary Dance School and Dartington College of Arts. During her choreographic practice she developed an interest in 'dance for the camera' that led to a Master at Central St Martins where she specialised in animation and illustration.

In 2004 Carolina won an Animate! commission for the film ‘As The Crow Flies.’ Projects that have followed include the music videos for Vladislav Delay, Metronomy, Four Tet, Colleen and Efterklang, Animal Planet idents, as well as commercial projects for Sony PSP and BBC Jam. Most recently Carolina has been working on the on-going BBC3 re-brand ‘Threeworld,’ which won a Brand Identity award at Eurobest 2008 and a 60-second commercial for NSPCC, which was nominated for a BTA Craft Award.

Carolina is also known internationally for her illustration work, which has been featured in design and fashion contexts as well as gallery spaces. Her illustrations have been commissioned by clients such as TANK magazine, Speciaten, MTV, Microsoft, LeSportsSac

Her work, greatly informed by her background in choreography, explores ideas of delicacy, organic development, life-cycles and living relationships, yielding elegantly tragic pieces with a subtle romance.
